As some of you may already know my 5 year old daughter Kahlea was diagnosed with Leukemia last Wednesday (2/10/2010.)
As of today, Kahlea has received 2 chemotherapy treatments and she will undergo a 2 1/2 year chemo treatment regiment. Her body has responded favorably and we are expecting her to recover just fine.
The reason I am sharing this with you is not to gain your pity but to let you know how having the right knowledge can be a powerful weapon in a situation like this.
Over the past 14 months since my involvement with MonaVie, I have been exposed to a vast array of wellness knowledge which I never would have paid attention to prior. I also learned some basics of what cancer is about and how to help our body prevent and combat the growth of cancer cells. When the doctors dropped the bombshell on us that our precious daughter's bone marrow exam proved positive of Leukemia, we were extremely saddened by the discovery but we were NEVER frightened by it. We know the doctors will have to bombard her little body with powerful drugs but we are also prepared to do everything we can to repair her healthy body cells with good nutrition and strong prayers.
Life is full of unexpected twists and turns. As some of you may be going thru different challenges in your lives, just be reminded that the toughest battles are in our minds.

What You Should Know...
Is Network Marketing a Pyramid Scheme?
If not, what's the difference between network marketing and a pyramid scheme?
Let me guess, somebody has just approached you and asked you to join their networkmarketing business and your instant thought was - is this one of those pyramid scams?
You made the right decision to do some research and be concerned, because pyramid schemes are illegal and can put you in to a lot of trouble. The good news is that networkmarketing or multi-level marketing is a legitimate and legal business model. On this page we will help you to identify the differences between network marketing and pyramid schemes, including a checklist of things to look for.
To start with we will review the similarities and then work to distinguish the two.
Generally, the initial concern for people when introduced to a network marketing opportunity is when they see the compensation plan which resembles a pyramid in shape. Instantly they fear the worst as they draw a resemblance to illegal pyramid schemes. The truth is that this pyramid structure is the same as every other sustainable business model across the world. This is best highlighted in the diagram below (figure 1.)
Is it the shape of the business model that dictates whether a business model is illegal?
No, of course not. If this were true every profitable company, government, church and school would be illegal and shut down. It is not so much the shape of the pyramid that people should be concerned about, more the way in which the pyramid is created that distinguishes whether or not it is legal. Let’s review.
Pyramid Scheme (illegal scam)
A pyramid scheme can be defined as a fraudulent money-making scheme that is based on a non-sustainable business model that involves the exchange of money primarily for enrolling other people into the scheme without a legitimate product or service being delivered. Eventually the number of new recruits fails to sustain the payment structure and the scheme collapses with most people losing the money they paid in.
In a more practical sense, probably the easiest way to identify pyramid schemes is firstly there is no legitimate product or service involved (ie you do not get a legitimate product in return for your initial investment). The second way to identify pyramid schemes is that you do not get a financial return unless you have successfully introduced a number of new recruits into the pyramid. Basically, pyramid schemes concentrate on the money that you could earn by recruiting new people into the pyramid and generally ignore the marketing and selling of any products or services.
Network Marketing (legitimate, legal business model)
The concept behind network marketing is a distribution model that allows a company to sell their products directly to the consumer. Choosing to use a word of mouth approach (networking) instead of advertising through traditional streams (eg media). Therefore instead of paying the media for advertising, network marketing companies are structured to reward distributors through commission in return for selling their products and finding new customers.Therefore the main focus of a network marketing company is product distribution. In fact, in a legitimate network marketing company, distributors are not required to recruit new distributors in order to earn a commission, they can earn money purely by selling the company’s product.
Although distributors can choose to sell the company’s products to earn their commissions, not everybody wants to be a sales person and therefore choose to recruit more distributors into their organisation as a means to build their referral base. Not only does this create a group of loyal customers, it also allows you to leverage the efforts of others to create a residual stream of income.

Therefore the recruiting element of a network marketing business is merely a way of distributing more products and helping to build a leveraged income.
Why do distributors in network marketing normally receive a commission when a new recruit joins their organisation?
To join a network marketing company you have to purchase an initial start up kit. This kit usually includes training, some sales and management tools to assist you to build your business, and a certain amount of product. Because there is a certain amount of product included in the start up kit, the sponsoring distributor is now entitled to a commission. For example, when becoming associated with a network marketing company there are normally a number of different business options available, what’s the main difference between the cheap business options and the more expensive ones? The amount of product you receive in the package, that is the more you spend up front, the more product you receive as part of your initial package and the greater the commission the sponsoring distributor is now entitled to.
The opposite is also true, most network marketing companies now offer a very low start up option where you do not have to purchase any product to get started, just the training and business tools. In this scenario the sponsoring distributor does not receive any commission in return for you joining their organisation, they do however now have a new distributor (and customer) who they introduced to the business and therefore any future product that is bought or sold by this new recruit is eligible for commission.
In summary, when trying to understand network marketing, distributors are paid a commission - not for recruiting new members, but for the amount of product that is sold through their organisation. Therefore recruiting new members into a network marketing company is purely a way of expanding the distributor’s network and customer base. Any commission made through recruiting new members is a result of the product sold in the start up package and not for the recruiting itself.
Another big distinction between pyramid schemes and network marketing is the fairness of good maths. To prevent network marketing companies from falling over like pyramid schemes (where people at the top make all the money and people at the bottom lose everything), there are restrictions placed in the network marketing company’s compensation plan that limit the number of people who can earn a commission off any given sale. Basically there are only so many ways you can split a dollar, therefore,network marketing commissions only travel so far. This not only makes the business model sustainable but also makes it fair in the sense that it doesn’t matter if you got in first or last, you have the same opportunity as everyone else.
Please bear in mind that every network marketing company’s compensation plan is structured differently. To learn more about the basic structures please refer to the compensation plan chapter after finishing this page.
So in summary, despite the fact that network marketing and pyramid schemes share a few similarities (i.e. the pyramid shaped business model shown in figure 1, and that in both you can recruit new members) network marketing is a legitimate business opportunity and one where you can earn a substantial legal income. You don’t have to take our word for it, network marketing is now being endorsed by a number of leading businessmen worldwide.

A word of advice when looking into a network marketing business opportunity - unfortunately some pyramid schemes have tried to mimic the network marketing business model before being discovered as fraudulent, therefore you have every right to be initially concerned. For your benefit we have put together a list of questions that you can ask yourself prior to signing the dotted line to help you identify a legitimate company from a fake one.
In particular, the following 2 questions:
- Is there a legitimate product involved?
What do you get in return for your start up investment, other then the potential to earn good money? If you're not getting a product or service or if the training tools appear to be overpriced you could have discovered a scam. For more information about recommend products please refer to the "choosing the right product" chapter. - Do you get commissions based on product distribution or on recruitment?
If they are paying commissions based purely on recruitment, walk away now.
Additionally, you should also consider the following factors that might influence long term success.
Be aware of hype and ground floor opportunities
Although some people might claim you earn more money if you get in first, this is never the case and these are companies that normally fold within the first couple of years. It is much safer to join a company with a proven track record.
Does the company have a proven track record?
If the company has been around for a few years then there is a fair chance that governing bodies that police pyramid schemes have already pulled the business model apart and given them the ok. Publicly traded companies are normally your best bet.
Will the company buy back any unsold product?
Most network marketing companies have a money back guarantee which means that if you are unhappy with the products you can send them back for a refund. Given that the majority of your start up kit was product, if you’re not happy with the business you should be able to send back any leftover product to refund most of your start up costs. Trynetwork marketing and potentially become very wealthy, or if it’s not working for you send your product back for a refund, it’s a win-win! Naturally a pyramid scheme is not going to refund your money.
Is this a get rich quick scheme?
Although there is a lot of potential to earn very good money in network marketing very few have made it quick, most make their millions through consistent effort. So if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is.
A STAR in the MLM Industry
Industry statistics showed over 95% of the people who got into MLM made no money while less than 1% of the people created a tremendous wealth for themselves.

A Profession On The Rise
There was a time when I was a SKEPTIC of the network marketing industry (I have been an owner/operator of a few small businesses in the past 15+ years.) Like most people, I was afraid of the things I did NOT know. However, over the past months I was able to learn the DOs and DON'Ts about MLM (multi-level marketing) through a company called MonaVie.
In a nutshell, MLM is just another way businesses choose to bring their products to the market--word of mouth.
As in any industy, there are good companies and bad companies.
As in our society, there are good people and bad people.

I'm not exactly an every day listener but we do have your show on every night because my son is a huge supporter of the show... I'm writing because I heard you talk about the drink Mona Vee. I had my son do some research as I'm dealing with arthritis and this sounds like it would've been the drink for me. Hey, I'm old. What can you do? So I had my son (he's 40 with two lovely 17 year old boys) order few cases. I've been drinking Mona Vee since Friday, February 6th, 2009. It's been about a month and I feel excellent. My arthritis is still here - I expect that - I'm 79 years old!!! however I must say that the majority of my pain is nill. I don't mind getting up and walking around. I don't mind going outside. I would be just sitting, stationary, listening to music, watching TV or doing taxes (I am a retired account and I prepare taxes for customers to keep my mind healthy and active). So last week, due to the positive effect the drink was having on me, I remember you saying for business opportunities to contact Tiz who my son told me is a producer you talk about sometimes on the show. When you said business opportunities I did not know what you were talking about so I decided to check it out. After all, with a product like this how could I not check it out... And let me say that in the 40 years that I've been involved in business I have never seen ANYTHING like this plan.
Without going into my life story In the late 1940s, my family almost lost everything. I built an accounting business from the bottom up, so I know about economics. It's now a family businss that my Son, and two daughters take part in. However, with my two 17 year old grand-sons coming of age I'm now looking into preparing a Family Mona Vee business. Lou Brutus said health and wealth - and he's right. I've seen the worst of times. I've seen the best of times. I've seen America come out worse situations than we are now. I've seen how the economy fluctuates. I've learned that this is the time to get into business like this....and the fact that it costs $39 to get involved is malarchy. I'd pay $10,000 or more to get involved with something like this. It's up to your company...and with a good team you produce results. With a good family your produce results. Your company is like a family. And from what I read, Mona Vee is a great family to be apart of
Please get me Tiz's information as I'd like to deal with him rather than the random person we bought our first 2 cases from off the internet. When people spread good news, I like to support them. And that's what being in Mona Vee definitely seems like.

Salt & Blood Pressure
Mayor Bloomberg made an announcement urging people to cut back on the intake of salt.
About 15 years ago, my mother was told that she has hypertension and for over 10 years her doctors prescribed different medications to help her control her blood pressure. Over the course of ten-some years I have had to rush her to the emergency room on several occasions because almost everytime her doctor decided to have her try a different medication that's new to the market, she would try it, her blood pressure and heart rate would drop drastically, and her heart beat almost stopped.
About 5 years ago, the pills finally took a toll her her kidneys and she had to be placed on dialysis. But before dialysis could be performed through her arm, the surgeons had to cut an emergency opening on her chest to dialyse her from there. I will never forget that day because her upper left chest would not stop bleeding after the surgery. And because the ER was so busy that day I literally sat next to her for over 3 hours just holding down the gauge pad covering the surgical opening since her bleeding would not stop.
I almost fainted because I am just like that with blood.
For the next 3 years, she had to undergo dialysis 3 times a week. 4~5 hours each time. Now for those of you who has never been to a dialysis center, this is how it looks. It' is basically one big room with about 30~50 big dialysis machines where patients sit down next to their designated machine, get hooked up so the machines can suck out all the blood in their bodies, clean it, then pumps it back into the body.
Last week I went to draw blood for a routine physical and I felt every drop of blood that left my right arm in just 5 seconds. I cannot imagine how painful dialysis must be for the people who had to endure it. But thanks be with God, my mother was so lucky that she received a donor kidney 1 year after she was placed on the waiting list.
So what's my point in sharing this?
If the mayor of NYC is urging people to put less salt in their bodies, there must be a big group of Americans who have hypertension and are on those same pills my mom takes.

So what's my point in sharing this?

Unstoppable on 34th Street
YO what's up Monavieans?!?!
So much happened on 34th Street today I don't even know where to start with this post... but let me tell ya...
~~WE ARE AN UNSTOPPABLE GROUP OF MONAVIE-HEADS on 34th Street now spreading all over the world!!!
Speaking of the world... Yvonne just signed up her brother who lives in France, so guess what? We are now doing business in France! And as Yvonne was in the process of signing in her brother, I signed in (for Yvonne) Carol who works at the nearby DMV and was only gonna buy 2 bottles when she came into the restaurant, but Yvonne and I tackled her and got her to join our team as well. And since I typed faster than Yvonne, Carol got the position above Yvonne's brother in France so now Yvonne's brother will be making money for Carol!
I also signed in Veronia into Michael's Hollywood team and Tom signed in his CPA. Helena came later and signed in her best friends and she promised to bring our team to invade Greenwich Connecticut after Valentines Day and we can cause a riot!
Meanwhile, Jackie was out in Long Island signing in a whole bunch of people by herself!
Henry will soon be leading a team in NJ with Evelyn and Yvonne and Marie are soon taking over Brooklyn.
As I was riding the train home this evening, someone whom I had shared MonaVie with 2 months ago saw how quickly our team is growing and was literally begging me to sign her into our blessed team... she promised to share this with her co-workers as soon as I sign her in but I had to get off the train so we will see how her luck plays out in the next few days.
So while we are busy doing all this on 34th Street, other members are expanding their groups as well... so as of today, we are almost 140 members strong with 1 Silver Executive, 1 Bronze Executive, 3 Star1000s, a bunch of Star500s and a whole lot of Stars in just less than 3 months!!!
Monavieans from other teams are now coming to our meetings and adding more excitment and blessings to us.

NOW 120+ Members Strong!!!
So here's the latest scoop on 34th Street today... let's welcome Henry, Refeda and Liliana to our team!!! Henry is from NJ and he has checked out our team meetings a few times and also attended NJ's SUPER-OPEN with us before he decided to join our team.... Refeda is a Registered Nurse from Albany and also my wife's best friend from college... and Liliana runs a PR company and is very much into helping minorities to reaching their success.
Many thanks again for Marta & Joe for sharing with us their own personal stories... for those of you who didn't get to hear Marta's story, she has been taking BLOOD THINNERS and was concerned about the consumption of MV since it has Vitamin K but after she consulted her hemotologist about the juice, her doctor actually encouraged her to take MV and advised her that she will just have to adjust her dosage of Blood Thinner pills. So this is good news for the people that are taking blood thinners so if you or anyone you know are taking blood thiners, it is not the end of the world, please check with your doctors and see if MV can help you.
Marta also shared with us that this very same doctor told her that she is the 2nd person to mention MV in her clinic. The first was a Korean lady whom she diagnosed with breast cancer but after she started drinking MV, no traces of cancer cells can be found in her blood. ?2) Do you drink MV or do you just sell it to make a buck?
> First of all, you don't just make a buck with MV. You stand to make a fortune! Now I drink MV everyday because I prefer drinking a shot of this in the morning & night over swallowing the 12+ vitamin pills my mama used to nag down my throat. When I was in college over a decade ago, I injured my wrist because I can type superfast but I used to type while sitting in very awkard postures. One day my left arm went numb for 5 minutes and for the last decade I've lived with excruciating pain from my left finger tips to the left side of my head. My shoulders used to be rock hard from stress and sometimes the pain even extended to my chest. One time I got myself an EKG because I thought my heart was giving out. To minimize the pain I used to get accupuncture on a regular basis. Normally 30~40 needles across my arm to my neck eventhough I would squeal on the sight of them tiny 3" needles. But one week after I started drinking MV Active, my shoulders loosened up and now I feel just like how I used to feel when I was 21! And as embarrassing as this may sound, my hemorrhoids disappeared after the 2nd week of drinking MV. Everyone has their own MV stories; but this story is mine. I am now a MV believer.

I just wrote this to someone I love and care about in life and just thought I share it here because it has one of my favorite Bible verses:

Lunch Box Buffet
3 years ago, I finished construction of the Lunch Box Buffet on 257 West 34th Street (btwn 7th & 8th Avenues) and thought I was gonna make out like a bandit. But some things in life just don't happen as we humans planned but thanks be with God, I am still standing. Although I don't know how I survived the past 3 years, I am guessing God somehow held me up through the help and support of various people that He has allowed into my life. Here's the BEFORE & AFTER...

Miracle or Coincidence?
I love sharing this story because it is to me more of a miracle than a mere coincidence.
When I used to run my own consulting business a few years back I relied on WJ--a partner & computer wiz--to lead many projects and took on a bulk of the work. One day due to personal reasons he disappeared and was nowhere to be found. And of course as my luck would have it, a major client called in with an emergency that only WJ knew how to resolve because he was the man who wrote the modification codes to the program that literally ran the client's daily business. The client operated a multi-million paper distribution business and without the software, the business was on a standstill. The client was frustrated and I was nervous because WJ had turned off his phone.
Feeling helpless and hopeless, I left my office, hopped into my Z3 and took off the top of the car to cool myself off a bit and I started driving aimlessly while praying and asking God... No, I was begging God for help!
After driving for about 2~3 hours from Maspeth to Flushing to Bayside to Little Neck I somehow ended up lost in the parking lot of a shopping mall in Douglaston. And as I was cruising up and down the lanes inside the lot, guess who came out of the mall with 2 bags in his hand?
To his surprise, WJ asked me 'how did you find me?' where I just looked up and pointed to the beautiful blue sky and thanked Him for leading me.
Coincidence you say? Not in my book.

Saints in My Life
Some people cross our paths in life and make influences that last forever... besides the usual suspects who shape us as we were growing up, here are a few people whom I am forever indebted to and the reason why I am sharing the story of their kindness is to let you know that sometimes when we feel God is nowhere to be found, He sends his angels to help us:

TS is a Trini pastor that I met on 34th St. During the lowest points of my life, TS (whom at the time was a stranger I barely knew) called me tireless on a daily basis to pray for me. I would answer my cell phone and without hearing any greetings from TS, he would get into a prayer that lifted my spirit for the rest of the day. The mind is where the most difficult battles are fought but when you surround yourself with men & women of faith, a spoken word of encouragement draws the line between life and death. Thank you TS!

DC is a Korean friend I grew up with during my elememtary school years. Although we went our separate ways since HS and lost contact with each other for over 10 years; we ran into each other and reconnected a few years back. One day when I needed a large sum of money to get over a serious cash flow problem, he not only gave me everything he had at the time but also offered to drive out to Princeton NJ to pick up more if necessary. I am forever indebted to this man.

JC used to work with me in a company we started soon after college but later moved back to Taiwan to settle down. He was another friend that through an email of mine asking for help, wired me a large sum of money that kept me alive. How will I ever repay an emotional debt such as this?

DP is my pastor-friend whom I rarly called. But when I called him out of the blue one day, he immediately knew something was wrong and invited me over to his church where he just knelt next to me and prayed for God's mercy on my life. Sometimes in life, we only need a few good friends willing to stand next to us when our knees are weak.

P is a Thai restaurant owner that I met in one of my own restaurants early on. One day after learning of my difficulties he offered to loan me a large sum of money that he needed to send back to Thailand in one week. After I repaid him and expressed my gratitude to him, he responded 'the amount was insignificant' and advised me not to keep it in mind. I remember telling him 'when a man is dying of thirst and you offer him a drop of water, you save his life.' P is a life-saver and another godsend.

EC is a church friend from DP's ministry and upon hearing of my financial woes offered me a loan that kept my house from foreclosure.

EW is a ministry student who didn't have much money himself but when he learned of my troubles, offered me everything he had by dropping off a check in my mailbox. Of course, I would not accept such a gift from a ministry student but my heart was deeply touched by his kind gesture.

ES grew up with me since HS and another great friend I speak with only once in a blue moon. Upon learning of my financial difficulties one day he withdrew money from his credit card to help me get through my most difficult times.

JC used to work with me in a company we started soon after college but later moved back to Taiwan to settle down. He was another friend that through an email of mine asking for help, wired me a large sum of money that kept me alive. How will I ever repay an emotional debt such as this?

DP is my pastor-friend whom I rarly called. But when I called him out of the blue one day, he immediately knew something was wrong and invited me over to his church where he just knelt next to me and prayed for God's mercy on my life. Sometimes in life, we only need a few good friends willing to stand next to us when our knees are weak.

P is a Thai restaurant owner that I met in one of my own restaurants early on. One day after learning of my difficulties he offered to loan me a large sum of money that he needed to send back to Thailand in one week. After I repaid him and expressed my gratitude to him, he responded 'the amount was insignificant' and advised me not to keep it in mind. I remember telling him 'when a man is dying of thirst and you offer him a drop of water, you save his life.' P is a life-saver and another godsend.

EC is a church friend from DP's ministry and upon hearing of my financial woes offered me a loan that kept my house from foreclosure.

EW is a ministry student who didn't have much money himself but when he learned of my troubles, offered me everything he had by dropping off a check in my mailbox. Of course, I would not accept such a gift from a ministry student but my heart was deeply touched by his kind gesture.

ES grew up with me since HS and another great friend I speak with only once in a blue moon. Upon learning of my financial difficulties one day he withdrew money from his credit card to help me get through my most difficult times.

On a Journey w. the BIG GUY
ok so over the years I've struggled and tried to wrestle with the BIG GUY to have control over my life... but now, I've given up and I am learning to put my trust in Him for provisions of my life. Here are some prayer verses that my faith pillar shared with me recently that gave me the juice to keep on going:
Deut. 28:8
The Lord will send a blessing on our barns and on everything we put our hands to. The Lord our God will bless us in the land he is giving us. We will be blessed when we come in and blessed when we go out.
Proverbs 10:22
The blessing of the Lord brings wealth and He adds no trouble to it.
Isaiah 35:6
Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert.
Zechariah 8:12
So He will save us, and we will be a blessing. Do not be afraid but let our hands be strong.
Psalm 67:6
Then the land will yield its harvest and God our God will bless us.
Deut. 30:9
Then the Lord us God will make us most prosperous in all the works of our hands and in the fruit of our wombs, the young of our livestock and the crop of our land.
Isaiah 30:23
He will also send us rain fo the seed we sow in the ground and the food that comes from the land will be rich and plentiful.

ok... if my wife found out I am blogging and did not include her and our little ones in my blog... hmmm... I am afraid to think of the consequences. So let me start something with a few photos of the woman God blessed me with and the 2 little rascals that came along later... just to fill in this space:

hmmm... ok... I am a blog-virgin... so I am just gonna try and write a few more things and toy with this blogging business that almost everyone in the world seems to be doing... except me until today.
so how'bout I write a little bit about this blessed MonaVie team that God has assembled here on 34th Street?
it all started about a year ago with my dear friend and pastor Ed Diaz who visited me in my restaurant while I was very stressed out over the construction and addition of Fay Da Bakery into my store on 257 West 34th Street. Ed and I met in a local church in Bayside a few years back and when he first gave me that Green MonaVie bottle the company called ACTIVE... I accepted it with reservation and respectfully thanked him and Tamara (Mrs. Ed Diaz) and I drank the entire bottle which was supposed to have lasted me 2 weeks in 2 DAYS with a typical New Yorker's skepticism. I threw away the bottle and didn't give it a second thought... until a few months ago, when a second person shared with me what he was doing as a side business--MonaVie.
In the course of 2 months, we build our MonaVie team from 0 to 70 members! Thanks be with God because I had no prior experience with networking business and to be honest... I SCORNED MLM!!!
Now, with these team members as our core and 257 W34th Street as our base, we are ready to positively influence New Yorkers and soon people worldwide:
Pastor Ed & Tamara -- our seed planter
Kitty -- our real estate veteran now on a crusade to help arthritis sufferers
Stella-Rose -- our great pillar of faith
Theodora -- now our team's phone personality
Stanley -- our golf coach who taught Maddoff... oops is that name a taboo?
Richie -- the happiest person I know so far
Ann -- our model mom (no, no, she is both a model and a mom) and her little model daughter Kaziah who's also a pretty little model
Dr. Wallace Liu -- our retired surgeon with the cool bio-physical machine
Jacqueline -- our supersales girl from Macy's
Emmanuel -- our Mr. Perfect who's 32 year old Puerto Rican nephew is now an emerald raking in $200K/year and an inspiration to the rest of us... (btw, this 32 year old young man recently quit his daytime job to pursue MonaVie full time; hey, wouldn't you do the same if MonaVie is paying you $200K+?)
I am proud to say that in 2 months time, 13 members of our group achieved STAR status and above and we continue to grow FAST in 2009, so please check back later as I update this list...

Health & Wealth...NOW!!!
Over the past 10+ years I started a few businesses since graduating from the Stern Business at NYU. From tech consulting to importing to restaurants to...While some made me a living, a few costed me dearly.
While the Stern Biz School at NYU gave me a pretty good training for success, it didn't prepare me for the ups and downs of life as an entrepreneur... ESPECIALLY THE DOWNS!!!
Most people like to talk about their success stories... I feel what I learned in my past years of failure is something worth sharing.
In the past 3 years I visited financial hell. NO, that's an understatement... I was thrown into financial hell and almost couldn't get myself out!
I went from being a cocky Stern Graduate destined to conquer the world to... near bankruptcy. At the lowest point in my life, I thought the only way out of the mess I got myself in was to end my life.
I learned a few things while I was down on luck in life:
First and foremost, I learned that as much as I wanted to be in control over my life, God is really in control.
I learned that when you are down in life, everyone around you begin to reveal their true colors. While some close friends and family distanced themselves from me, a few (I mean quite a few) people became my 'rescuer' and my supporter.
I am grateful for the people that God has put in my path and for the new opportunity that has presented itself.
While I was planning for what I thought was gonna be a 'big' business... GOD used my failure to open up another door for a really REALLY BIG OPPORTUNITY.
So from building on a 'fast food chain restaurant' (Lunch Box Buffet) idea that started 3 years ago which nearly killed me... to partnering with the biggest Chinese bakery (Fay Da Bakery) in NYC... I am now on a path to building a global business that focuses on helping people to becoming Healthy & Wealthy!
God has led me to building what's to become the fastest growing network marketing team in NYC--The Life Coaches Group of MV on 34th Street. And He also provided me with a team of faithful believers to go on this path of abundance and prosperity together.
